Pre-defined templates enable quick
connection to a broad variety of
METTLER TOLEDO industrial weigh-
ing terminals. Simply select the ter-
minal’s template from a drop-down
menu.
WeighSync is a software applica-
tion that allows data from individ-
ual weighing transactions, or from
stored table data, to be transferred
automatically from a weighing ter-
minal to a central database, using
an Ethernet or serial connection.
The transfer of weighing data to
the WeighSync database can be
carried out automatically in real
time, initiated manually, or set to
occur according to a schedule.
Flexible Configuration
Custom configuration parameters
provide the flexibility to define
custom data structures, which
can be parsed and mapped to
user-defined fields and tables in
the Microsoft
®
SQL Server Express
database.
Ready for Existing Processes,
Scalable for Future Growth
The WeighSync network can use a
serial connection to communicate
with an older generation of termi-
nals, but is also ready to take ad-
vantage of newer, Ethernet-enabled
products. If PC hardware changes,
the WeighSync software can be
transferred easily from one PC to
another by moving the USB licence
key device.
